27 Cities. One Church. One Mission.

Last Saturday, during the very first official Love Life prayer walk in Washington D.C., a couple pulled up in front of Planned Parenthood while believers stood outside praying.

For a moment, they sat there while the Church prayed.

Then they drove away.

They never came back.

And as believers continued praying outside the abortion center, it felt like a picture of what can happen when the Church is united and mobilized.

That same morning, scenes like this were unfolding across the nation.

Across 27 cities, from the East Coast to the West Coast, a total of 2,537 prayer walkers gathered at abortion centers to pray, worship, and shine the light of Christ in some of the darkest places in our nation. From California to New York and cities throughout the Southeast, the Church continued to unite and mobilize for a culture of Love and Life.

Because the prayer walks took place the day before Mother’s Day, believers also honored mothers by giving them roses and praying over them as they stood for life outside abortion centers in their cities.

Across the nation, the Church continued to see powerful moments unfold.

Over 300 prayer walkers gathered in Greensboro, North Carolina for a celebration prayer walk after the abortion center known as A Woman’s Choice closed its doors. Several powerful testimonies were shared as believers reflected on years of faithful prayer, worship, outreach, and the Church continuing to show up week after week.

In Raleigh, believers arrived to find the abortion center closed for the day as more than 300 prayer walkers gathered to pray and worship together.

In Charlotte, 390 prayer walkers filled the sidewalk in prayer and worship. In South Florida, more than 300 believers gathered to stand for life.

On the West Coast, 165 prayer walkers gathered in Orange County, California, as churches and believers continued to mobilize throughout the West Coast.

And while the Church gathered across the nation, lives continued to be impacted in real time.In Detroit, one woman arrived for an abortion appointment but could not bring herself to enter the clinic parking lot after seeing the prayer walk taking place outside the abortion center. She drove away, spent time praying and processing what God was speaking to her heart, and later returned—not to enter the clinic, but to connect with the sidewalk team. Before leaving, she chose life for her baby and was connected with a mentor.

In Queens, New York, just as the prayer walk was wrapping up, a family pulled over to thank the team for being there. They shared that several months earlier, because of the faithful presence of the sidewalk team, they had chosen life and were now holding their precious baby.

And for the first time, what was happening in these cities did not stay in those cities.

Through our first ever Love Life Live broadcast, people across the nation were able to experience prayer walks in real time as we went live from cities across the East Coast. Viewers prayed with us, worshipped with us, and witnessed what God was doing on the ground. Next month, we look forward to bringing people into prayer walks happening on the West Coast as well.
