We all remember 2020.
In the midst of COVID, chaos and confusion were everywhere. In many of our Love Life cities, authorities were threatening arrest if we continued to hold prayer walks and sidewalk outreach. In both Greensboro and Charlotte, police actually arrested some of our leaders and local pastors for praying outside of abortion centers.
While abortions were still happening inside, we were told we could not stand outside and pray.
We knew God was calling us to continue. To stand. To mobilize the Church across the nation to protect the most vulnerable.
In the midst of that tension, Love Life Live was born.
Love Life Live was a live broadcast that gave people a glimpse of the Church in action in real time. As believers gathered to pray across different cities, people were able to see it unfold live, hear from pastors on the ground, and even at times witness babies being saved while the Church was praying.
When we first launched the broadcast, Love Life was in just four cities. But as people watched what God was doing, something shifted. The Church didn’t pull back. The Church stepped in.
And now, we’re bringing it back.
What was born in a moment of pressure has become something we believe the Church still needs today.
Across this nation, believers are gathering every week to pray, worship, and stand in the gap for the least of these. But most people never see it.
Love Life Live is coming back to change that.
On May 9, we will relaunch Love Life Live as we step into a powerful moment. In Washington, we will be launching Love Life DC, believing for the Church in our nation’s capital to be united and mobilized to create a culture of love and life. At the same time, in Greensboro, believers will gather for a celebration prayer walk at an abortion center that has now closed its doors.
We’ll be live as it unfolds.
This isn’t just a broadcast. It’s an opportunity to see and step into what God is doing.
