When most people think about abortion, they picture a clinic.
But for many college students today, the abortion clinic has moved into the dorm room.
The abortion pill can now be obtained by mail throughout the United States. In California, public universities are required to provide abortion pills to students on campus, often at no cost.
A young woman can receive the pills, return to her dorm room, and walk through one of the most difficult and painful moments of her life completely alone.
No counselor. No pastor. No church family. No one reminding her that there is another way.
The Church Must Be There Before the Crisis
We cannot wait until a young woman is alone in her dorm room, believing abortion is her only option.
The Church must be present before that moment ever comes.
That is why Love Life is launching Love Life University Santa Barbara, our first campus in what we pray will become a growing ministry reaching colleges and universities across the nation.
Through partnerships with local churches and Christian student organizations, Love Life University will work to create a culture of love and life on campus through prayer, education, compassionate outreach, and meaningful relationships.
Students will be connected to practical support, the local church, and ultimately the hope of the Gospel.
Our prayer is that every student facing an unexpected pregnancy would know she is not alone, that help is available, and that there is another way.
Help Us Launch This New Mission Field
A generous ministry partner has established a $75,000 matching gift to help launch Love Life University Santa Barbara.
