A New Chapter for the Church in San Diego

As worship rose outside Planned Parenthood on College Ave, something shifted in the atmosphere. Last Saturday marked the official launch of Love Life San Diego, a moment our SoCal team has been praying and working toward since late last year. In a county where thousands of abortions take place every year and 14 abortion centers are actively operating, the need for the Church to rise up has never been greater.

San Diego Reformed Church became the first partnering church to adopt a week, and they showed up to shine the light of Christ in one of the darkest places in their city. Over 140 believers stood together in unity, making San Diego’s first prayer walk one of the most significant launches our team has witnessed.

The heavy darkness that has gripped this location for years was pierced by songs of praise and prayers of intercession. The parking lot was full as women and men walked in for services, including abortion. Yet not one could deny that God was extending His gracious hand through His people. The Church stood as a living testimony that there is Hope in Christ and Help through His Church.

As the prayer walk wrapped up, City Director LaMar Bratton gave a clear call for believers to step into the battle. Many stepped forward immediately, committing to ongoing involvement through sidewalk outreach, mentorship, prayer, and financial partnership.

This is just the beginning. Love Life San Diego has been launched, and we believe God is going to write countless redemption stories in this city.

Please join us in praying for LaMar, his family, and the churches of San Diego as they continue to stand on the front lines. Ask the Lord to raise up pastors, awaken believers, and establish a praying church that will stand for life and reach mothers and fathers with the hope of Jesus.
