Nearly 6,000 believers gather across America for the final prayer walk of the year
Last Saturday marked our 10th Celebrate Life prayer walk in Charlotte. It is hard to believe that what started in 2016 with just 32 people has grown into a nationwide movement. Not only was the Church present in Charlotte last Saturday, but over 150 churches across the nation joined as 28 cities hosted a Celebrate Life prayer walk in their city.
The Celebrate Life prayer walk is a special time each year when we ask all those who have partnered with us throughout the year to come back together in unity and celebrate what God has done. It is our final prayer walk of the year and our largest, a day when believers from every region join together to lift up the name of Jesus and to give thanks for the lives saved, the hearts changed, and the churches mobilized across the nation.
In Charlotte, the celebration was especially powerful. Women who have chosen life over the past ten years gathered to share their testimonies of hope and redemption. One unforgettable moment came when a precious little girl whose life was spared from abortion boldly declared, “Satan thought he had me, but Jesus said you are mine.” The crowd erupted with praise, a living reminder of why we pray, walk, and believe.
From the East Coast to the West Coast, the Church showed up and God moved.
In South Florida, more than 1,000 prayer walkers were joined by Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who shared a powerful word about faith and the value of every life.
In New York City, over 200 believers gathered outside the Manhattan Planned Parenthood, which closed its doors for good on November 1. The group celebrated with worship, prayer, and thanksgiving to God for what He has done.
In Sacramento, as the Gospel was shared at the conclusion of the prayer walk, eight people responded to put their faith in Jesus.
And in Raleigh, a mom who had arrived at the abortion center changed her mind and chose life for her baby moments after the prayer walk concluded.
A major highlight of the day came from the Pacific Northwest, where Love Life Seattle launched and held its first official prayer walk, joining the nationwide movement on this historic day.
Across all 28 cities, a total of 5,877 believers walked, prayed, and worshiped together, a united Church shining light in the darkest places.
Looking Ahead: The Next Decade of Miracles
As we celebrate ten years of Love Life, we are filled with gratitude for all that God has done and expectation for all He is about to do.
In 2026 and beyond, Love Life will continue expanding into new mission fields, raising up new city directors, and equipping even more churches to become Houses of Refuge for families in need. We are believing for 1,000 House of Refuge churches to be established and for prayer walks to multiply in every major city across America.
The vision remains the same: to unite and mobilize the Church to create a culture of love and life that will bring an end to abortion and the orphan crisis. What began with 32 people on Latrobe Drive has now grown into a nationwide movement of faith, prayer, and action, and this is just the beginning.
Jesus is building His Church. And the gates of hell will not prevail.
