Our story starts with local business leaders meeting at an abortion center in Charlotte, NC, in 2012. David and Jason Benham, serial entrepreneurs who have grown up fighting for life, invited other local business leaders to meet them at the largest abortion center in the entire Southeast to expose them to the tragic truth in their city. One of those businessmen was Justin Reeder, who became deeply broken over what he saw that day. He went back to tell his staff, family, and friends about what he saw and learned. That began a process of God moving in Justin’s heart, which led to many sleepless nights with God downloading a strategy to mobilize the Church in Charlotte. The vision for the ministry comes out of Nehemiah chapters 1-3. Justin knew God was leading him to use his entrepreneurial skills to begin the rebuilding process. A handful of families came together and funded the whole thing, and they got to work. We believe God is calling Kingdom Entrepreneurs who are uniquely gifted to lead this work.
